A new Islands Reborn profile starts on a small sky island. The useful first session is a workbench, an iron bridge, and one trip through the Slime Island portal. Huge farms and factory lines can wait until those three things exist.
What is already on the island
The starter plot has a few crops, a tree, a wooden pickaxe, and a plow. Harvest wheat with the plow to get seeds and grain. Chop the tree for wood. Cut saplings do not replant themselves here, so put tree seeds back onto dirt yourself.
The basic workbench costs 10 wood. The wooden sword, which you need before Slime Island is worth entering, costs 20 wood at that workbench.
Cross to the iron rock
The neighboring middle rock holds an iron deposit. Bridge to it with dirt or grass blocks you place yourself. Smelt iron ore in a small furnace. One early-session timing report puts a small-furnace iron bar at about five to seven seconds. That timing was stated for iron, not for gold or steel.
Stone from the central island plus more iron is what players use to reach Workbench Tier 2. That tier is the gate for the anvil, food processors, and player vending machines. If you only build the first workbench, you can fight and gather, but you cannot start the potato-salad line yet.
Slime Island is the first combat trip
From the public hub, use the Slime Island portal. A fishing note places an Adventurer NPC beside that portal. Bring the wooden sword.
Slimes are described as blue, green, and pink. Drop lists do not fully agree, so treat this as a bag check rather than a single loot table:
- Blue slimes are tied to blue sticky gears.
- Green slimes are tied to green sticky gears in several combat notes, and a separate note also lists green slime balls.
- Pink slimes are tied to pink sticky gears and to rare island keys.
- Another route says green or pink slimes can drop the Buffalkor Island key.
Sticky-gear shop prices move. Reports include green gears around 20,000 coins, a 20,000–40,000 band, and a 40,000–50,000 band inside a vending-machine cost breakdown. Pink gears are described as the expensive color, with one combat note saying up to about 60,000 coins. Buffalkor keys are reported around 2,000 coins, or 2,000–4,000. Sell into a shop that still has coins. A listed price is not a completed sale.
The lower part of Slime Island is described as an aquatic mining area with aquamarine shards, used later with pearls and crystallized iron at an anvil. There is no published recipe count for that craft.
Spend the first coins on a repeatable loop
Hub vendors sell seeds such as carrots and onions. Carrots matter later because one bait piece is three carrots. Onions are a separate plot, not a potato-salad ingredient.
Before you buy a large seed stack, decide which loop you are funding:
- More Slime Island trips if you still need gears, keys, or the wooden-sword stage.
- Potato and tomato seeds if Workbench Tier 2 and a food processor are already crafted.
- A furnace and pickaxe path if you would rather smelt gold from the next island.
The 1M Coins badge is a one million coin balance on the account. It is not a reward code, and it does not require a specific farm.
If an original Islands pass is already on the account
Islands Reborn does not sell its own gamepasses. The experience page says perks use the original Islands passes, and those purchases support Easy.gg rather than this fan project. The Starter Pack is reported to add saplings and 10 iron, which can skip a campfire and go straight to a small furnace. Rejoin the server after buying a pass. Details are on the gamepass and collectibles guide.
Leave automation alone
Duping and exploiting are ban reasons on the experience page. This route does not use auto-clickers, macros, or item duplication. A normal next step after the first sword and furnace is the potato salad line or the combat island route.
